"IS THERE A GOD WHO CREATED THE UNIVERSE? WHO IS HE? HOW CAN WE KNOW THE TRUTH?"
Almost all Thai people are Buddhist and follow
the teachings of the Buddhist religion and traditions. Thai Buddhists are like all people in the world. They realize
they have a spiritual soul and they realize that they will be judged for things they have done that are bad. Like all
people, they hope that their religion will help them. They seek help from the spiritual world. In addition to
Thai Buddhist images, Thai people also have spirit houses and Thai Chinese have altars in their homes and shops to honor the
spirits of their ancestors. All of these are methods to seek help from the spiritual world.
Thai Buddhists
recognize that all people have done some things that are bad. These bad actions are usually called "sin".
If you do bad deeds you receive punishment, or bad karma. If you do good deeds, which is called "making merit",
you receive rewards. If you do bad, you get bad. If you do good, you receive good. Or, as it is often said,
"Sin is sin and merit is merit."
This means that merit cannot remove sin. When a person has sin,
they will receive the consequences, or punishment, for sin. If they make merit, or do good deeds, this will not help
them escape the punishment but will give them rewards also.
There is fear about the spiritual world because
it is recognized that spirits can be powerful and use their power to hurt or help people. So actions are done to please
these spirits in the hope that they will favor and help rather than harm and create problems. Honor is given to spirits
by building a "spirit house" to please the "spirit of the land" or by building an image of "Lord
Buddha".
But what if there was One Great Spirit who had created all things, both spiritual and
physical? What if this God Spirit created people with a spiritual soul so that He could communicate with them through
their spirit and they could communicate with Him? If this Spirit God has created ALL THINGS and ALL SPIRITS then He
would be more powerful and have authority over ALL THINGS, both spiritual and physical. He would be the One Spirit who
people must honor. If this One God was the Greatest Spirit, then we would only have to fear HIM! He could protect
us from all other spirits! If HE decided to forgive us for all things we had done that was bad, sin, then we would not
have to fear any judgment!
There is such a God! How can you know for sure?
Jesus died on Friday, two thousands years ago, in the Israeli city of Jerusalem. The
Roman soldiers stuck a spear into His side to be sure He was dead. Then two of the followers of Jesus were
allowed to lay His body in a small cave, or tomb, used to bury the dead. The Jewish leaders were afraid
that someone would steal the body of Jesus and then say that Jesus had been resurrected so they asked that a large rock
be put in the only entrance to the tomb and that Roman soldiers be place at the sealed entrance to guard the body. Nobody came to the tomb on Saturday because it was
the Jewish holy day and they believed that no work of any kind should be done on Saturday. The followers
of Jesus were Jews so they did not visit the tomb on Saturday. Saturday was the “second day” following
the death of Jesus. The Roman guards stood at the entrance to the tomb. They knew that if they allowed
anyone to move the rock at the entrance to the cave they would be killed by their superior officers. On Sunday morning, the beginning of the “third day” following the death
and burial of Jesus, the followers of Jesus came to the tomb. They found that the Roman soldiers had run
from the tomb in fear. The followers found that the big rock had been rolled away from the entrance to
the tomb! They looked inside and the only thing they found was the cloth that had been wrapped around the
body of Jesus when He was buried on Friday!!
An angel appeared to the followers of Jesus. He told them, “Why
are you looking for the living at a place where they keep the dead! Jesus has risen from the dead!”
The followers did not know what
to think, then they saw Jesus Himself standing there! He told them to go back to the city and tell His
other followers He would be coming to meet them! Later
that day, Jesus entered the room where His followers had gathered. They were so amazed that some did not
believe it could be Him. Some thought He was a ghost. He told them, “Here are
the scars on my hands where they put the nails. Here is the scar on my side where they drove the spear
into my body. Touch them and see that it is me. I am not a ghost.” Jesus remained in the world for 40 days after
He rose from the dead. Over 500 of His followers stayed with Him and listened to His final teachings.
Then they watched as He rose before their eyes into the sky and disappeared into the clouds. He
has never returned, but He promised that one day He would return to collect all those who follow Him and carry them with Him
to heaven. This
is why there is no burial place for Jesus today! This is why there are no bones, hair or ashes from the
body of Jesus. He died, returned to life on the third day after He died, and He will never die again!
Why? Jesus rose from the dead
to prove to you, to me, and to all people, that He is the only true way to be accepted by God and forgiven of our sins.
The “RESURRECTION” (When life returns to a dead person and they rise from the grave.) is proof, evidence,
that the followers of Jesus are following the only correct path to heaven. The Bible says in the book of
1 Corinthians Chapter 15, verse 13, that if Jesus did NOT rise from the tomb and return to life, then Christians would be
fools!
BUT JESUS DID ARISE FROM THE DEAD AND HE RETURNED TO LIVE FOREVER!!! This is the GREAT NEWS of Jesus Christ. The
followers of Jesus worship, serve and pray to A LIVING GOD!! He promises
that all those that believe in Him and follow Him will also receive eternal life and NEVER die! We have
PROOF that our faith is based upon TRUTH and not simply the teachings of ordinary men. This is why Easter is a day of celebration for all Christians!!! It reminds them
that THEY SERVE A LIVING GOD!!!! They do not follow someone who lived
a long time ago and then died. JESUS CHRIST LIVES TODAY!

a “Christian” as “one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ.” This is a good definition of a true “Christian”.
What did Jesus teach? Jesus taught that: - He is the only true God -
He is the only way to be forgiven for our sins and accepted by God -
All those who believe in Him will become children of God forever Christian Research indicates that by the middle of (2005),
2.14 billion people made up the world’s Christian population – a 140-million-person increase from five years earlier.

“WHAT IS A PROTESTANT?”
There are hundreds of religious groups that refer to themselves as “Christians”.
It can be very confusing to someone who is not a “Christian” and even many Christians do not know the differences
between the many Christian groups. It
may help to begin with the basic groups that refer to themselves as being “Christian”. We will
divide these into 3 basic groups: - PROTESTANTS
- CATHOLIC
- CULTS, or groups that call themselves “Christian”
but are not generally accepted as being true “Christians”.
- PROTESTANTS believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ
ONLY as found in the Bible.
PROTESTANTS: - Believe the teachings from
Jesus that ONLY come from the Bible. - Believe the Bible that the
Protestants use has been passed down from the original writings of Old Testament and New Testament writers. -
Believe that Jesus taught that He is the ONLY way for all people to be forgiven of their sins.

Believe that Jesus taught that ALL people that believe He is God and the ONLY way to God will be
forgiven of ALL their sins and that God will give them ETERNAL LIFE, which means that they will NEVER die. When
their bodies die in this lifetime, their spirit will immediately go to live with God in His heaven and NEVER be punished for
their sins or go to hell nor return to this earth to live other lives. - Believe
that Jesus died on a cross to pay the penalty for the sins of all people who believe in Jesus. -
Believe that Jesus rose from the dead on the third day following His death to prove that He is
God. He never died again, but after being with His followers for 40 days, Jesus rose into the clouds to
return to heaven. -
Believe that the Spirit of God will live in the souls of ALL people who believe in Jesus and never
leave. This means that they become Children of God forever. God’s Spirit stays
with them all the time in this life. Christians do not fear bad spirits or death and they know that God
helps them when they have trouble. - Believe that Jesus taught
that His Spirit is with God’s children all the time and that they can talk to God anytime when they need Him.
He is their Father. They do not have to go to any priest or any other person to talk to God.
They are His children and their Father always hears them.
“WHAT ARE BAPTISTS?”
All PROTESTANTS
are “CHRISTIANS” and they believe all the things written above, but there are also different groups among Protestants.
Groups among “Protestants” include, Baptists / Pentecostals / Assembly of God / Methodists” and many
more.
Some primary reasons that there
are so many groups of Protestants are because: - Some Protestants
prefer to worship in different ways than other Protestants. - Protestants
interpret some teachings of Jesus differently. But they all believe that the other Protestant groups are
children of God and will go to heaven forever when they die because they believe that Jesus is God and the only way to be
forgiven from our sins. -
Protestants may have different worship styles so they form groups that worship in the same style. -
Protestant groups form their own organizations to send out missionaries. If a Christian lives in an area
where there are no other groups like his or hers, they go to worship at the local Protestant church that most closely believes
and worships as they do. All Protestant groups welcome others from other groups of Christians and they
welcome those who have not yet become followers of Jesus but may be interested in knowing more about Him. “Baptists” is one Christian group among the many “Protestant”
groups. All of the writers and team for the “Sawadee Jesus” website are Baptists.
But Baptists believe that other Protestant groups are also true Christians and are brothers and sisters in the same
family of God. “What
do Baptists believe?” -
Baptists ONLY believe what is taught from the Bible. -
Baptists believe that when a person accepts Jesus Christ as their God and Master of their life,
they receive eternal life and will never die. When their human body dies, their soul goes to God’s
heaven forever. -
Baptists believe that a person should be “baptized” by immersion AFTER they
make a decision to follow Jesus and decide that He will be their God. “Baptism” is one of two
ceremonies that takes place in the church after a person becomes a follower of Jesus Christ. (The other
ceremony is “The Lord’s Supper”, or “Communion”. See writing below.)
The follower of Jesus is baptized only one time after they make a decision to become a follower of Jesus. When a person is “baptized”,
a church leader stands in water with the new believer. Then the church leader lowers the body of the believer
completely into the water (called “immersion”) and quickly lifts them back out of the water. Jesus
taught that this should be done to all of His followers. The “baptism” ceremony demonstrates
that this follower of Jesus has died from their old sins and now had been “reborn”, or “raised from being
spiritually dead” into a new life with Jesus Christ as their master. Sometimes people are “baptized”
in a river, sometimes in the ocean, sometimes in swimming pools, and some churches have a pool filled with water where new
followers are baptized. It is not important “where” a follower is baptized, but it is important
that obey the teaching of their Master, Jesus, and participate in the Baptism ceremony. - Baptists
follow the teachings of Jesus when He said that all of His followers should have a ceremony called “The Lord’s
Supper”, often called “Communion”. The “Communion” ceremony takes place among the group of followers
of Jesus. Jesus had a meal with His 12 special followers the night before He was to die on the cross.
He gave them bread and wine and told them to eat and drink it. He said that these were the symbols
of His body and blood. He told them to have this same ceremony from then on. Now, Baptists
have this ceremony frequently, maybe every month or every three months. They eat a piece of bread and drink
any juice or drink that is red. The bread is a symbol of the “body of Jesus” which was sacrificed
on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of mankind. The juice is the symbol of the “blood of
Jesus” that was given on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Baptists DO NOT believe that
any miracle takes place when the bread and juice are eaten. Catholics believe that the bread changes into
the actual body of Jesus when eaten and they believe that the juice turns into actual blood. -
Baptists believe that every Christian is a “priest”. This
means that every Christian is a child of God and can approach God without having to have another person as their representative.
Followers of Jesus do NOT need another person to be their priest. They can pray to God, ask Him
to bless them, ask Him to forgive them when they make mistakes, ask God to help other people and ask God to guide them in
all decisions that they make. Followers of Jesus do NOT need some other “holy” person or someone
who has studied more or knows more about the Bible. The Spirit of God lives in the souls of ALL followers
of Jesus Christ and God accepts them as His children and He ALWAYS hears the prayers of His children. -
Baptists believe that only Jesus Christ is the “head” of each group of Christians.
The group of followers is like the “body of Christ” and that the Spirit of God is the “head”
of the “body”, or group. This means that each group of Christians does NOT need anyone else
to be in control of their group. Every group of followers studies the Bible and “the group”
decides how God wants them to live. They do not have a “High Priest” or “Pope”
or a “committee” in some far away place that tells them how they must live. Each follower of
Jesus is a “Priest” and the Spirit of God tells them how they should live. -
Baptists believe that every follower of Jesus should read the Bible to learn more about
God and God’s plan for their life. They do not need anyone else to tell them what the Bible teaches.
But Baptists do have teachers and leaders. Those who study more and who demonstrate that they are
true followers of Jesus are often asked by the group of followers to be the teachers or leaders of their group.
But NOBODY can tell a Baptist group WHO must be their leader or teacher. The group decides for itself. -
Baptists believe that every follower of Jesus should tell other people about Jesus.
They tell other people for two reasons: 1. They know that God loves all people and wants them to
be saved. 2. Followers of Jesus love all people and want them to be saved too.
Baptists do NOT believe that followers of Jesus are “required” to tell others about Jesus in order to earn
their way into heaven. But followers of Jesus know that it will please God if they explain the story of
Jesus to others so they too can become a Child of God and receive eternal life. But if another person hears
and decides to reject God’s offer for them to have eternal life, it is that person’s decision. That
person will face God’s judgment when they die, but the follower of Jesus who told them the story of Jesus will not be
held accountable.
“WHAT ARE CATHOLICS?"
We on the “Sawadee Jesus” Team believe that
if you want to know that a Catholic believes you should ASK A CATHOLIC!
We believe that the very best source for information about a group is the group itself. However,
we do study about other groups and believe that we should all be familiar with the things that others teach and practice.
All Catholics do not believe the same things. But we so think that the following are Catholic beliefs
and practices and that a Catholic would say that these are true statements about their beliefs. - CATHOLICS believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ BUT they have also have
additional teachings and beliefs that do not come from the Bible that Protestants accept as being the only truly inspired
writings from God. - They have additional books
called the “Apocrypha” in their Holy Book that are NOT included in the Bible used by Protestants. -
Catholics also have many beliefs they have added which are called “church tradition”.
These are beliefs that have been added over the years by their church leaders. - Most
Catholics believe that a person must belong to the Catholic Church in order to receive forgiveness and go to heaven
when they die. -
Catholics believe that a person should confess to the Catholic Priest and do things that
the Priest says they should do in order to receive forgiveness for their sins. - Catholics
believe that people should pray to Mary, the lady who was the Mother of Jesus, rather than to pray directly to God. -
Catholics believe that the body of Mary did not stay in the grave after she died but that the body
of Mary rose from the dead like Jesus and went to heaven. - The
leader of all members of the Catholic Church is the head priest called the “Pope”. He
lives in Rome, Italy and is the leader that makes decision on various positions that the Catholic Church has on issues. -
Catholics believe that a person must make a confession and receive a blessing from a Catholic
Priest before they die. If they do not receive this blessing their souls will go to a place called
“Purgatory” which is between heaven and hell. Their spirit stays there until someone prays
enough for them to escape and go to heaven. - All of these teachings about Mary, Catholic Priests, Purgatory, or having to be members of the Catholic church
in order to go to heaven, do NOT come from the Bible used by Protestants but were taught by Catholic leaders after Jesus returned
to heaven.
“WHAT IS A FAKE CHRISTIAN, OR CULT?” Groups that call themselves “Christian”
but are not generally accepted as true “Christians” are called “Cults” by other true followers of
Jesus. They are considered to be “fake” or not genuine Christians. Some
“cult” Christian groups do not believe that Jesus is God. Some “cult” Christian
groups do not believe that Jesus is the only way God has given for people to be forgiven of their sins. Some
“cult” Christian groups do not believe that God only requires people to have faith in Jesus Christ in order to
become a Child of God and receive eternal life. Some common “cult” groups are “Jehovah Witness”, also called
“Watchtower”, “Mormons” also called “Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints”, “Christian
Scientists” and others. A person must be aware that these groups are NOT considered to be true Christians by Protestants.
These “cult” groups have beliefs that are VERY different from those things that Jesus taught.
They believe things that are absolutely NOT taught in the Bible. There are multiple Cult groups that call themselves “Christians”
in Thailand but there are two found most frequently:
1. “Mormons”, also called “Church of
Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints”
Joseph Smith-Founder of “Mormon”, or “Church
of Jesus Christ of Ladder Saints” Religious Group The Mormon group was founded
about 160 years ago by and American named, Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith said that an angel came to him and gave him a
golden book. The book had details about Jesus Christ which had never been given to any other person. Joseph Smith
said that he could only read the strange language of the book's writings when he looked through special stones that the
angel had given him to use.
No other person ever saw this special golden book or the special stones that
Joseph Smith said the angel had given him. He said that he no longer had the book or the stones because the angel required
him to return them before other people had the opportunity to see these things. There has never been any evidence to
support the story of Joseph Smith. We only have his own testimony that these events actually occurred.
Later,
members of Joseph Smith's family accepted his amazing story as being true and they began the religious group we now call
"Mormons". They also call themselves "Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints".
"Mormons"
believe the following:
- Mormons believe that there is a "Father-god" over this Earth. They believe that
"Father-god" has a wife. Together they give birth to all the souls of the people that live on this Earth.
Therefore, a person might accurately say that Mormons believe there is a "Father-god" and a "Mother-god"
over Earth.
- Mormons believe that the "Father-god" of this Earth was born on another planet as
a "man" before he became exalted and became the "Father-god" of Earth.
- Mormons believe that ALL
good Mormons will become "gods" of their own planets when they die. Mormon men who marry Mormon women
will remain married forever and together they will be the "Father and Mother-gods" of their planets. They
will give birth to all of the spiritual souls of the people that live on their planet.
- Mormons believe that Jesus and
Satan (whose name was "Lucifer" before he became known as "Satan") were born as spirit brothers.
-
Mormons believe that "Father-god" had sexual relations with Mary, the mother of Jesus, to form the "physical"
body of Jesus.
2. “Jehovah Witness, also called “Watch Tower”
Charles Taze Russell-founder of “Jehovah
Witness”, or “Watch Tower” Religious Group - The founder
of the Jehovah Witness group was an American named Charles Taze Russell. He was born about 160 years ago.

The teachings were very different from the teachings in the true Bible so the Jehovah Witness’
wrote their own version of the Bible. The book used by the Jehovah Witness is called “The
New World Translation”. It has many things which are different from the Bible that Protestants
use which came from the original writings of the first followers of Jesus. “The New World Translation”
is NOT accepted as a credible translation of the original Greek and Hebrew texts by legitimate Bible scholars. -
Jehovah Witness do not believe that Jesus is God - Jehovah
Witness' believe that only 140,000 people will go to heaven when they die. Others who believe
as Jehovah Witness’ believe will live in this world after Jesus returns one day. They believe that
Jesus will return and make this world into a perfect world. - Jehovah Witness’
do not believe that Jesus rose from the dead. - Jehovah Witness’
do not believe that the souls of the dead go to either heaven or hell. They believe that they no
longer exist after this life but that God will remember the people and create them again in the future. Be aware when you meet either Mormons or Jehovah Witness members
that they are NOT considered as being true Christians by those who ARE true Christians and who understand both the
beliefs of true Christians and the beliefs of these two cult groups.

Why won't living a good, moral life make me acceptable to God?
Many believe that if they do their best here on earth and are ‘sincere’,
God will recognize their effort, overlook their weaknesses and "grade on the curve." This belief, however, shows
a misunderstanding of God’s infinite righteousness and perfection. The Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."(Romans 3:23) Not a single
one of us could honestly say that we have never knowingly done anything wrong. The apostle James tells us, "For whoever
keeps the whole law, (God’s absolute standards) and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all."(James
2:10) These violations (sins) are not just isolated events;
they are a reflection of the sin nature that permeates our entire being. Consider, for illustration, an omelet (which is a
cooked mixture of eggs, some milk and cheese). It takes only one rotten egg to make the entire omelet rotten, no matter how
many good eggs we add. The one rotten egg permeates the whole mixture and makes it unacceptable to our taste. Similarly, it
takes only one sin to make us unacceptable to God. God is infinitely holy and good, and no matter how hard we try, we could
never succeed in reaching His absolute standard of perfections. He is also a just God who holds us accountable for violating
those standards that we know to be right. (Romans 2:14-16) Only
one person has ever lived a perfect life – Jesus Christ, God the Son. Therefore, His death on the cross in payment for
our sins is the only basis for God’s total forgiveness and acceptance of us. When we receive Jesus Christ as our personal
Savior, and choose to follow Him, then we are no longer under God’s condemnation."(Romans 8:1) People who feel their sincerity [in whatever they believe] should gain them
entrance to heaven are misled. It is not the degree of sincerity one has in whatever they choose to believe. Rather, it is
the object of one’s faith. Someone may be a sincere follower of some religion, cult or philosophy, but they will go
to hell because they did not come to the One Person who should be the object of faith. Jesus Christ is the only object in
whom you should place your faith … with all your sincerity and commitment. In this society, many say, "Your truth is not my truth." They feel they somehow can decide
[like God] what are the absolutes. They feel all truth is relative. However, the fact is that not all religions or belief
systems are equal. There are absolutes (check out gravity). It is faith in Jesus, God revealed in history, not faith in faith
itself, or some code of ethics, other religions, or mindset that someone has constructed. Jesus wants you to know for sure
that you can have eternal life. (I John 5:11-13) He offers His love to you. Won’t you receive Him as your Savior, friend
and Lord today? Will you give up trying to live a good enough,
‘sincere’ moral life … or even a ‘sincere’ legalistic, religious one … and accept the
free gift of forgiveness that Jesus Christ lovingly offers you?

ผมรักท่าน และมีคริสเตียนหลายคนในประเทศไทยก็รักท่าน
แต่ถึงแม้ว่าพวกเขาและเราจะรักท่านมากสักเพียงใด
ผมไม่คิดว่าจะมีใครสักคนที่ให้ชีวิตลูกของเขาเพื่อท่าน ท่านลองนึกสิว่าพระเจ้ารักคุณเพียงใดที่ยอมสละส่วนหนึ่งของพระองค์ให้มาตายบนกางเขนเพื่อท่าน

Will You Be My Valentine?
In other countries - Valentine's Day is a holiday
celebrated on February 14. Now it has become a very popular holiday in
Thailand as well. Valentines Day is
the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine's cards, or giving candy. It is very
common to present flowers on Valentine's Day. The holiday is named after two Early Christian martyrs named Valentine.
The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love
notes in the form of "valentines." Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline and the figure of the winged
Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten notes have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards.
In the book of Matthew, Jesus answered a man’s question, “Master,
which is the greatest commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto
it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37 – 39.
My friends of Thailand, there are many Christian in Thailand
and many in the United States that have visited Thailand, who love you, but who
don’t even know you! I love you and the Christians who live and work in
Thailand – love you as shown by their commitment of time and effort
to tell the people of Thailand about a
very special love.
But as much as people may love you – I don’t think anyone
is willing to give the life of their son or daughter for you! Can you just imagine
then, how much God must love you that He allowed His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the Cross for you? Jesus was the sacrifice that was given to pay the penalty of your sins and mine. Now, all God asks is for you to believe this and to love Him in return and to ask Him to be a part of your
life!
Why not take this opportunity to make that commitment to Him?

มันเป็นเรื่องที่น่าสนใจมากในแวดวงการเมืองในประเทศไทย ปีที่แล้ว ได้มีการเปลียนรัฐบาลครั้งสำคัญ นับตั้งแต่นั้นเป็นต้นมา
มีเหตุการณ์ที่น่าสะดุ้งต่างๆ
ซึ่งเป็นข่าวในหน้าหนังสือพิมพ์ทุกวัน
ขณะนี้ได้เกิดมีกลุ่มต่างๆของประชาชนซึ่งมีทัศนะและวิสัยทัศน์ต่างกันในเรื่องการดำเนินการ
ความแตกต่างกันนี้เป็นเรื่องปกติวิสัย ทุกประเทศก็มีกลุ่มชนที่มีทัศนะต่างๆกันว่าการปกครองน่าจะเป็นเช่นใด
และใครสมควรเป็นผู้นำ
มันเป็นยามที่กิจกรรมทางการเมืองกำลังร้อนจัดในประเทศไทยคนไทยต่างกำลังครุ่นคิดว่าพรรคการเมืองพรรค

ไหนควรคุมเสียงข้างมากในรัฐบาล ในสภาวะที่การเมืองกำลังร้อนนี้
คริสเตียนไทยควรมีส่วนอย่างไรบ้าง
? พระคัมภีร์สอนอะไรบ้างเกี่ยวกับคริสเตียนมีส่วนร่วมในภารกิจของรัฐ
?
เพื่อที่จะได้เข้าใจว่าคริสเตียนไทยคิดอย่างไรกับกิจการของชาติ
และพวกเขาจะเข้ามีส่วนร่วมในกิจการนั้นอย่างไร
เราจะต้องเปิดพระคัมภีร์
เพื่อดูว่าพระคัมภีร์สอนอย่างไรบ้างในเรื่องนี้ คริสเตียนไทยศึกษาพระคัมภีร์เพื่อดูว่าพระเจ้าต้องการให้เขาทำอย่างไรบ้างเกี่ยวกับรัฐาล

2. คริสเตียนไทยควรไปเกี่ยวข้องกับการเมืองไทยไหม

พระคัมภีร์สอนว่าพระเจ้าเป็นผู้สถาปนารัฐบาลเพื่อรักษาระเบียบและกฏหมายเพื่อให้ประชาชนอยู่เป็นสุข พระธรรมโรม 13:1-8 สอนไว้ว่าพระเจ้าสร้างระบบการปกครองของรัฐ และรัฐอยู่ได้ก็เพื่อความอยู่เย็นเป็นสุขของราษฎร ประชาชนควรให้การสนับสนุน ไม่ใช่ประท้วงระบบการปกครองใดๆของรัฐ นอกจากนั้นยังบอกว่าประชาชนควรเสียภาษีและเชื่อฟังกฎหมาย
พระคัมภีร์สอนว่าคนของพระเจ้าควรอฐิษฐานเผื่อรัฐบาลและผู้นำประเทศ 1ทธ 2: 1,2 สอนว่าการอฐิษฐานเช่นนี้จะช่ยให้เขาปฏิบัติภารกิจดีขึ้น

พระเยซูเองยังตรัสว่าคนของพระเจ้าควรจ่ายภาษีและเชื่อฟังกฎหมาย แต่ความรักและการเชื่อฟังพระเจ้าควรเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่สุดในชีวิต

22:21 ประชาชนทูลถามพระเยซูว่าพวกเขาควรเสียภาษีไหม พระเยซุตอบว่า
“..ของซีซาร์จงถวายแก่ซีซาร์” (ซีซาร์คือผู้ปกครองสูงสุดในสมัยนั้น) นั้นจึงหมายถึงต้องเสียภาษี แต่พระเยซูยังกล่าวต่อไปอีกว่า
“ของพระเจ้าจงถวายแด่พระเจ้า” นั้นหมายถึงว่าเราต้องถวายชีวิตแด่พระเจ้า
และต้องนมัสการและรักพระเจ้าเหนือสิ่งอื่นใด
4. คริสเตียนไทยควรร่วมกับม๊อบในการสนับสนุนหรือประท้วงผู้มีอำนาจห้าที่ทางการเมือง
? พระคัมภีร์สอนอย่างไรบ้างในกรณีที่คริสเตียนไม่เห็นด้วยกับรัฐาล
?
พระเยซูตรัสว่าพระองค์ไม่ได้เสด็จลงมาในโลกเพื่อล้มรัฐบาลและเพื่อครองทุกชาติ
พระองค์ตรัสว่าพระราชอณาจักรของพระองค์เป็นฝ่ายจิตตวิญญาณ
และพระองค์เป็นกระษัตริย์ที่ปกครองใจของคนของพระเจ้า
พระคัมภีร์สอนว่าคริสเตียนควรเชื่อฟังกฎหมาย
และทำกิจภายในกรอบของกฏหมายเพื่อเปลี่ยนสิ่งในรัฐบาลที่พวกเขาเห็นควรเปลี่ยน
กฎหมายในประเทศไทยยอมให้ประชาชนแสดงความเห็น ไม่มีรัฐบาลใดในโลกที่สมบูรณ แต่ผูเชื่อพระเจ้าควรทำกิจภายไต้กฎและระเบียบของแผ่นดินเพื่อช่วยรัฐาลปฏิบัติภารกิจคุ้มครองช่วยเหลือประชาชน รัฐบาลเองควรคุ้มครองเสรีภาพของประชาชน ปกป้องคนอ่อนแอและด้อยโอกาส
และชีวิตของเขา
นี่แหละคือพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้าที่สร้างระบบการปกครอง

พระเยซูเองจะเสด็จกลับมา
และจะปกครองทั้งโลกฝ่ายจิตตวิญญาณและทุกรัฐบาลในโลก

WHAT THAI CHRISTIANS BELIEVE ABOUT “GOVERNMENT”
These are very interesting
days in Thai politics. There was a
major transition in the government last year. Since then,
dramatic developments seem to occur and are reported in the news every day.
There are now various groups
and factions of the population that represent diverse viewpoints and visions for how things should progress. This is only natural and every country has groups
with different opinions about how their country should be governed and who should be their leaders.
These are intense days
of political activity in Thailand. All Thais have an opinion about what political party or group should be in
control of the government.

In the midst of the activity, how should one expect Thai Christians to be involved? What does the Bible teach Christians about being involved in the affairs of government?
- To understand what Thai
Christians think about national affairs and how they should be involved, one must understand what the
Bible says about this subject. Thai Christians study the
Bible to see what God wants them to do about government and about all things in life.
2.
Should a Thai Christian be involved in the politics of the country?
-
The Bible teaches that God created the system of having governments. The purpose of having governments is to have order and laws that are good for
the people.
In the Bible, Romans 13:1-8
says that God created the system of having governments, that governments exist for the benefit
of the people, and that people should support, not oppose they system of governments. It also says that people are to pay taxes and obey the
law.
The Bible teaches that the people of God are
to pray for their governments and the leaders of the country. 1 Timothy 2:1,2 says that
praying for governments will help those in authority do a better job of governing the people.
3.
Do Thai Christians consider themselves to be loyal Thai citizens with responsibilities to the
government?
- Thai Christians love
their country and its King. But God is
the Lord of their heart and the Lord of their lives. Loving
and obeying God is the most important thing in the lives of Thai Christians.
Jesus Himself taught that the people of God should
pay taxes and obey the laws but that their
love and obedience to God should be the most important thing in their life.
In Matthew
22:21, people asked Jesus if they should pay taxes. Jesus
said that they should
“give to Caesar (the ruler of the world in the days of Jesus) those things that are Caesar’s”. This means, pay taxes.
But Jesus
also said that the people of God should
“give to God the things that belong to God”. This means that we are to give to God our life and that we worship and love God above all things.
4. Should a Thai Christian participate
in demonstrations in support or opposition to various political authorities? What does the Bible say that Christians should do when they do not approve
of their government?

Jesus taught that He did not come into the world to overthrow governments and to rule over
all countries. He said that His Kingdom
is a spiritual Kingdom and that He is the King that rules the hearts of the people of God. John 18:36
The Bible teaches that
Thai Christians should obey the laws of Thailand and work within those laws to change those things about government that they believe should be changed.
The laws of Thailand allow for all people to express their ideas.
There are no perfect governments
in the world today, but the people of God should work within the rules and laws of the land to help the
government do the best job that it can to protect and help the people. Governments should protect the freedom of the people, protect the weak and
under privileged, and protect the lives of all people.
This is the purpose for
which God created the system of governments.
The Bible teaches that in these days, God has
created the system of governments in the world, but in the future, Jesus Himself will return and will rule over both the spiritual world and He will have authority over the government of
the world.
1 Corinthians 15:24.

อฐิษฐานเผื่อครอบครัวอย่างหนัก...เพื่อให้พระเจ้าสำแดงพระองค์เองแก่คุณเพื่อคุณจะได้รู้ว่าพระองค์คือใคร
และขอบพระองค์ทุกสิ่งที่คุณมี
และสำหรับการที่พระองค์ทำงานในตัวคุณให้เหมือนพระคริสต์
“Therefore
tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I
will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Zechariah 1:3
Do you feel as though God is
some where out in space…not involved with your life? The things that happen to you are because of luck or fate?
When the majority of your thinking is on this world, you build a “life philosophy” based on this world. Return
means to go or come back. Is this a time when you need to return to the Lord Almighty? Only you know that!
Renew your time with Him…read a Psalm today…read a Proverb based on the calendar day of the month. Pray
intentionally for your family…for God to continue to reveal himself to you so that you will know who He is. And
then, THANK HIM for everything you have and for His working in you life to make you more like Christ.

ข้าพเจ้าดำเนินอยู่โดยศรัธาในพระบุตรของพระเจ้าผู้ได้ทรงรักข้าพเจ้า
และได้ทรงสละพระองค์เองเพื่อข้าเจ้า

ข้อพระธรรมนี้บ่งบอกว่าผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าไม่ดำเนินชีวิตโดยธรรมบัญญัติเพื่อจะได้รับความรอดพ้นจากบาป
กล่าวคือตามกฏข้อห้ามต่างๆ
ผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าต้องตายจาก(ตัดขาดจาก)ธรรมบัญญัติเพื่อจะได้ดำเนินชีวิตตามพระเจ้า
ดูเหมือนว่าสภาวะสองสภาวะไม่อาจอยู่ร่วมกันได้
ในการการตายจากธรรมธรรมบัญญัติ
ผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าต้องเชื่อว่าเขาได้ถูกตรึงกับพระคริสต์แล้วและเขาไม่มีชีวิตอีกต่อไปแล้ว
แต่เมื่อพระเจ้ายกชูพระคริสต์ให้เป็นขึ้นจากความตาย
พระเจ้าก็ให้ท่านมีชีวิตใหม่
(บังเกิดใหม่) ชีวิตใหม่ที่ผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าได้มานี้มาจากฤทธิ์เดชของพระเจ้าและจึงทำให้ผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าสามารถดำรงชีวิตบนโลกนี้ด้วยฤทธิ์เดชนั้น
แต่เป็นที่น่าเสียใจทีผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าหลายคนไม่ได้ถือว่าเขาเป็นอันเดียวกับพระคริสต์ในการถูกตรึงบนกางเขน
และไม่ถือว่าพวกเขาเป็นสิ่งทรงสร้างใหม่ในสายพระเนตรของพระเจ้า
และไม่ได้ถือว่าพวกเขาสามารถดำรงชีวิตเป็นสาวกของพระคริสต์บนโลกนีได้เพราะพระองค์ทรงรักพวกเขามากและวายพระชนม์เพื่อเขา

through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live,
but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself
for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”
Galatians 2:19-21
These verses clearly describe
that a Believer is not to live under the law…i.e., a set of rules or “must do’s” to feel saved or
to be righteous. A Believer is to die (be separated) from the influence of the law so that they can live for God.
You can either live for the law and die (be separated) to God or die to the law and live for God. It appears that the
two conditions cannot coexist. To die to the law requires that a Believer believe that they are crucified with Christ
and that they no longer live. But just as God raised Jesus from the dead, God has given you a new life (born again).
This new life that a Believer has been given comes from the power of God and enables the Believer to live a life on this earth
in that power. Unfortunately, most Believers never identify that their lives are crucified with Christ…that they
are a new creation in God’s eyes…that they can live as a disciple of Christ on this earth because Christ loves
them and died for them. The last verse describes the life of a Believer when they do not make that identification …Christ
died for nothing!
“See
to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic
principles of this world rather than on Christ.” Colossians 2:8

ผมได้รำพึงว่า "พระธรรมนี้เข้ามาอยู่ในพระคัมภีร์ได้อย่างไร"
? ดูเหมือนว่ามันก็น่าอยู่หรอกที่โลกเป็นอย่างทุกวันนี้
ทุกสิ่งในโลกนี้ล้วนตั้งอยู่บนธรรมเนียมของมนุษย์และหลักการของโลกนี้ซึ่งว่างปล่าวและมีแต่เรื่องโกหกพกลม
มันไม่ต้องถึงกับนักวิทยาศาสตร์หรอกที่จะเห็นว่าโลกนี้ไม่มีเหตุผลและเสียสติเมื่อมนุษย์พยามจะพบกับความต้องการที่เห็นแก่ตัวของเขาด้วยสิ่งที่โลกบอกว่าเขาจะอิ่มใจ
แต่พี่น้อง มันไม่มีวันและไม่มีทางทำให้ท่านอิ่มใจได้
ถ้าเช่นนั้นเหตุใดผมจึงใช้ชีวิตโดยตั้งอยู่บนสิ่งที่ผมเรียนรู้จากโลกแทนที่จะเป็นพระวจนะของพระเจ้า

When I discovered this verse,
I thought “how did that get into the Bible”? It seemed a logical reason on why the world is the way it is.
Everything of the world is based on human tradition and worldly principles which turns out to be empty and a bunch of lies.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that this world is illogical and crazy when humans try to satisfy their own
selfish needs with what the world says will satisfy them. They never have and they never will. Then why did I live so much of my life based on what
I learned from the world and not God’s Word? Have you had similar thoughts? If so, then make a commitment to read
God’s Word on a daily basis…replacing the worldly traditions and principles with God’s spiritual perspective.
The Words of God are living and powerful. Make it your goal in life to see things from God’s point of view by
saturating your life with His Word.

แต่ข้อพระธรรมข้อนี้กระทบความคิดจิตใจของผมมาก
พระเจ้าเอาบาปของผมทั้งอดีต
ปัจจุบัน และอนาคตออก
และวางมันไว้บนพระเยซูคริสต์..ดังนั้น
ในสายพระเนตรของพระเจ้าผมจึงไม่มีบาป
พระเจ้าวางความชอบธรรมของพระองค์บนตัวผม
ผมจึงมีความชอบธรรมเหมือนพระคริสต์ไม่มีทางอื่นใดที่จะได้รับความชอบธรรม
!! จริงอยู่ มันดูออกจะไม่ค่อยจะสมควรนัก
แต่พระวจนะของพระเจ้ากล่าวไว้เช่นนั้นจริงๆ จงใครครวญข้อพระธรรมข้างบน
และคุณจะเห็นว่ามันกล่าวถึงเราผู้เชื่อพระเจ้า
มีความจริงอยู่ว่า พระเจ้าทราบว่า เมื่อเราจมอยู่กับความบาป
(จิตวินิจฉัยผิดชอบฟ้องว่าผิด)
เราไม่อาจมีใจจดจ่อให้กับพระเจ้าได้
ดังนั้นพระองค์จึงขจัดโทษแห่งความบาปออกไปและชำระจิตวินิจฉัยผิดชอบของเราเพื่อที่เราจะได้สามารถรักและรับใช้พระองค์ได้เสรี
จากนั้นพระองค์จึงสวมใส่ความชอบธรรมของพระองค์แก่เราเพื่อให้เรา
"บริสุทธิ์" โอ้โฮเฮ๊ะ ! มีอะไรไหมละที่จะไม่ให้เราเชื่อและรับความจริงนี้
? ความไม่เชื่อในพระวจนะนั้นแหละเป็นตัวการ
จงอ่านข้อพระธรรมข้างต้นซ้ำๆหลายๆครั้งเพื่อที่จะได้เข้าใจว่ามันพูดถึงเราซึ่งเป็นผู้เชื่อพระเจ้า
คุณเชื่อและยอมรับไหมว่าพระคริสต์แบกบาปของคุณทั้งหมด
และพระเจ้าได้สวมความชอบธรรมของพระองค์แก่คุณ
? ในสายพระเนตรของพระเจ้าคุณไม่มีบาป
แต่มีความชอบธรรมของพระคริสต์
! ดังนั้น คุณน่าจะเริ่มดำรงชีวิตโดยให้ความจริงข้อนี้ฝังลึกในตัวคุณตลอดไป
ความรักของคุณต่อพระเจ้าและต่อผู้อื่นจะเติบโตขึ้นมาก
“God
made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians
5:21
I don’t know about you
but this verse blows my mind. God took all of my sins (past, present, and future) and put them on Jesus Christ…therefore,
God sees me without sin. God took His righteousness and put it on me. I am as righteous as Christ. Ain’t
no way!! That just doesn’t sound right. But, that’s what the Word of God says…it is God’s
Word! Read and reread the verse above to see that it is talking about us as Believers. Maybe the truth is that
God knows that when we get all tangled up in our sins (guilty conscience), we cannot focus on Him because we are tied up in
our sins. Therefore, He removed all of the penalty and punishment of all of our sins and cleansed our conscience so
that we can freely and lovingly serve him. Then, He put His righteousness on us to make us “holy”.
WOW!! What keeps us from believing and accepting this truth? Our unbelief in the Word of God!! Read and
reread the verse again. Do you believe and accept that Christ took all of your sins and God put His righteousness on
you? You are without sin before God and as righteous as Christ! Therefore, start living your life with this truth
deeply and permanently implanted within your being. Your love for God and others will grow tremendously.

สัปดาห์ที่แล้วเป็นข้อพระธรรมเกี่ยวกับการเชื่อฟังและการนำพระวจนะของพระคริสต์มาใช้
ข้อพระธรรมสำหรับสัปดาห์นี้จะเกี่ยวกับสิ่งหนึ่งโดยเฉพาะที่สาวกของพระคริสต์ควรปฏิบัติคือ
"ล้างเท้ากันและกัน
" ถึงแม้ท่านสามารถล้างเท้าคนบางคนได้

เมื่อเรา "ล้างเท้า " กันและกัน
เราจะได้รับ "พระพร"
ซึ่งอาจเป็นได้ว่าพระเยซูล้างเท้าเรา
เมื่อเรารับใช้ผู้อื่น
มันเป็นแนวความคิดที่อัศจรรย์ของพระครูและองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา

“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that
I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example
that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger
greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. John 13:13-17
Last
week’s verses were about obedience and practicing the words of Christ. This week’s verses tell us one specific
thing that a disciple of Christ should be practicing…”wash one another’s feet.” Although you
can actually wash someone else’s feet (a nice foot massage would feel great), I think Jesus was talking about helping
one another remove the dirt and grime that we pick up in this world. The dirt and grime are the worries and cares for
this world that distract us from our life as a Believer. After awhile, the dirt and grime cause our life to be tired
and weary. No one can go it alone. We need one another. Jesus was saying: Practice helping one another to gain
God’s perspective on our whole life traveling through this world. What is most interesting about these verses
is that when we “wash” the feet of someone else, we receive a “blessing”…could it be that Jesus
has washed our feet when we serve others? What an awesome thought about our “Teacher” and “Lord”!

ที่ไม่ว่าเด็ก หนุ่ม
หรือสาวไม่ค่อยชอบฟังเท่าไรนัก
ทั้งนี้เพราะว่าเรามีธรรมชาติบาปติดตัวที่คอยกระซิบให้เราฟังว่า
"ข้าต้องการทำตามใจข้า
"
ส่วนคนที่ทำตามพระคริสต์เป็นเช่นไรและคนที่ไม่ทำตามละเป็นเช่นไร?
เมื่อผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าทำการตัดสินใจ
เขาอาจเลือกได้สองทาง
ๆหนึ่งคือทำตามธรรมชาติบาปและทำตามใจตนเอง
ซึ่งนำไปสู่ความไม่อิ่มเอมใจ
ความสับสน หมดหวังและท้อแท้
(ชีวิตแท้ถูกชะล้างหมดไป)
อีกทางหนึ่งที่ผู้เชื่อพระเจ้าอาจเลือกคือเชื่อฟังพระคริสต์และมีชีวิต
เมื่อท่านเจอมรสุมชีวิต
คุณพร้อมที่จะเผชิญกับมันเพราะคุ์ทำตามพระคริสต
หรือให้ชีวิตคุณถูกชะล้างและทำลาย
? มันเป็นถ้อยคำที่หนักเอาการ
แต่มันออกมาจากพระคริสต์
พระผู้ช่วยให้รอดของเรา
!
Jesus said,
“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord’, and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to
me and hears my words and puts them into practice.” Luke 6:46-47
These verses are about obedience…a
word that no child, teenager, or adult really likes to hear. That is because we have a sinful nature that always is
telling us, “I want to do it my way!”
What is the person like who practices
the words of Christ? What is the person like who does not practice the words of Christ? At the moment of any decision,
a Believer can choose the sinful nature and do it “their way” which leads to being unsatisfied and then to confusion,
despair, and hopelessness (a life washed away and destroyed).
Or, the Believer can be obedient
to Christ and gain life and life to its fullest (a life not shaken). When life hits you hard (a “torrent”),
are you prepared because you have practiced the words of Christ? Or, will your life be washed away and destroyed?
Tough words but they are from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

? จงหันมาดูสิ่งที่พระองค์ทรงสร้าง
จงพิจรณาการที่พระอาทิตย์ขึ้นและพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน
จงนึกถึงเรื่องเหล่านี้เมื่อยามที่เรากล่าวอย่างงี่เง่าว่ามันเป็นเรื่องบังเอิญ

Changing Verse
“Many,
O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak
and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.” Psalm 40:5
Do you consider what God has
done? Look at His creation. Look at a sunrise or a sunset. Look at those times when we foolishly say that
something was a coincidence or luck. Look at someone whose life is changed by learning a spiritual truth. God
has been working, is working, and will continue to work in you to do good works. Are you aware when God works in your
life? If you are, then you can say the same thing that the psalmist said in the verse above…there are too many
to tell. Stop and meditate on when God worked in your life. Recall the wonders that occurred. That will
start you on the road to seeing God work in your life today.

และผมจึงเห็นว่าเหตุผลที่ว่ามีพระเจ้าน่าจะเข้าท่ากว่าที่คิดว่าไม่มีพระเจ้า
เหตุผลเก่าๆของผมซึ่งเคยเชื่อว่าไม่มีพระเจ้าชักจะไม่เข้าท่าเสียแล้ว
นักเขียนชาวอังกฤษ ผู้หนึ่งชื่อ
G.K. Chesterton ได้กล่าวว่า สมมติฐานที่ว่าไม่มีพระเจ้าเป็นสมมติฐานที่เสี่ยงต่อความเสียหายที่สุด
เพราะเป็นการให้ความเป็นลบแก่จักรวาฬ
ลำพังแค่เหตุผลอย่างเดียวไม่อาจพิสูจว่าพระเจ้ามีหรือไม่มี
ความเชื่อเป็นเหตุผลบวกกับการเปิดเผย
สำหรับในส่วนของการเปิดเผย
เราต้องไตร่ตรองทั้งด้วยวิญญาณจิต
และ สมอง ในการฟังดนตรี
ท่านจะอ่านตัวโนตอย่างเดียวนั้นไม่พอฉันท์ใด !
ท่านต้องก้าวไปด้วยความเชื่ออีกด้วยฉันท์นั้น
!
สำหรับผมแล้ว การก้าวออกไปด้วยความเชื่อเกิดขึ้นเมื่ออายุ
27 ปีภายหลังจากเสาะหาพระลักษณะของพระเจ้าได้นำผมมาหาบุคคลผู้หนึ่งคือพระคริสต์
พระองค์เป็นบุคคล ซึ่งมีประจักษ์พยานแน่นหนาทางประวัติศาสตร์
พระองค์เป็นบุคคลที่สอนให้รักเพื่อนบ้านเหมือนรักตนเอง
และการอ้างของพระองค์ว่าเป็นพระบุตรของพระเจ้าต้องทำให้ทุกคนต้องตัดสินใจเอาเองว่าการอ้างเช่นนี้เป็นการอ้างของคนที่ถูกจูงจมูกให้งมงาย
หรือเป็นการอ้างที่เป็นจริง
หลังจากผมได้ขัดขืนที่จะทำการตัดสินใจเป็นเวลาสองปี
ผมจึงพบว่าเป็นไปไม่ได้ที่ผมจะอยู่ในสภาพรั้งๆรอๆไปเรื่อยๆเช่นนั้น
ผมจึงตัดสินใจเป็นผู้ติดตามพระคริสต์
มีคนบางคนถามผมว่า
"สมองคุณเกิดเป็นอะไรขึ้นมา?"
"คุณจะทำงานเกี่ยวกับพัธุกรรม
และ molecular biology ไปด้วยกันได้อย่างไร
?" "ทฤษฎีวิวัฒนาการกับ
ความเชื่อในพระเจ้าเข้ากันไม่ได้ไม่ใช่หรือ
?" "นักวิทยาศาสตร์มัวไปงมงายเรื่องการอัศจรรย์เช่นการเป็นขึ้นจากความตายได้อย่างไรกันนะ

แท้จริงแล้ว ผมไม่เห็นว่ามันจะขัดกันตรงไหน
40 % ของนักวิทยาศาสตร์ที่อ้างว่าเชื่อพระเจ้าก็เห็นเช่นเดียวกัน
ถูกครับ ! การวิวัฒนาการจากบรรพบรุษร่วมกันนั้นเป็นจริง
ถ้ามีอะไรสงสัยเกี่ยวกับทรากโบราณ
ดีเอนเอจะเป็นตัวบ่งชี้ที่ดีที่สุดถึงความสัมพันธ์ของเรากับสิ่งมีชีวิตอื่นๆ

Dr. Francis Collins.

most recent book is "The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief."
ROCKVILLE, Maryland (CNN) -- I am a scientist and a believer, and I find no conflict between those world views.
As the director of the Human Genome Project, I have led a consortium of scientists to read out the 3.1 billion letters
of the human genome, our own DNA instruction book. As a believer, I see DNA, the information molecule of all living things,
as God's language, and the elegance and complexity of our own bodies and the rest of nature as a reflection of God's plan.
I did not always embrace these perspectives. As a graduate student in physical chemistry in the 1970s, I was an atheist,
finding no reason to postulate the existence of any truths outside of mathematics, physics and chemistry. But then I went
to medical school, and encountered life and death issues at the bedsides of my patients. Challenged by one of those patients,
who asked "What do you believe, doctor?", I began searching for answers.
I had to admit that the science I loved so much was powerless to answer questions such as "What is the meaning of life?"
"Why am I here?" "Why does mathematics work, anyway?" "If the universe had a beginning, who created it?" "Why are the physical
constants in the universe so finely tuned to allow the possibility of complex life forms?" "Why do humans have a moral sense?"
"What happens after we die?"
I had always assumed that faith was based on purely emotional and irrational arguments, and was astounded to discover,
initially in the writings of the Oxford scholar C.S. Lewis and subsequently from many other sources, that one could build
a very strong case for the plausibility of the existence of God on purely rational grounds. My earlier atheist's assertion
that "I know there is no God" emerged as the least defensible. As the British writer G.K. Chesterton famously remarked, "Atheism
is the most daring of all dogmas, for it is the assertion of a universal negative."
But reason alone cannot prove the existence of God. Faith is reason plus revelation, and the revelation part requires one
to think with the spirit as well as with the mind. You have to hear the music, not just read the notes on the page. Ultimately,
a leap of faith is required.
For me, that leap came in my 27th year, after a search to learn more about God's character led me to the person of Jesus
Christ. Here was a person with remarkably strong historical evidence of his life, who made astounding statements about loving
your neighbor, and whose claims about being God's son seemed to demand a decision about whether he was deluded or the real
thing. After resisting for nearly two years, I found it impossible to go on living in such a state of uncertainty, and I became
a follower of Jesus.
So, some have asked, doesn't your brain explode? Can you both pursue an understanding of how life works using the tools
of genetics and molecular biology, and worship a creator God? Aren't evolution and faith in God incompatible? Can a scientist
believe in miracles like the resurrection?
Actually, I find no conflict here, and neither apparently do the 40 percent of working scientists who claim to be believers.
Yes, evolution by descent from a common ancestor is clearly true. If there was any lingering doubt about the evidence from
the fossil record, the study of DNA provides the strongest possible proof of our relatedness to all other living things.
But why couldn't this be God's plan for creation? True, this is incompatible with an ultra-literal interpretation of Genesis,
but long before Darwin, there were many thoughtful interpreters like St. Augustine, who found it impossible to be exactly
sure what the meaning of that amazing creation story was supposed to be. So attaching oneself to such literal interpretations
in the face of compelling scientific evidence pointing to the ancient age of Earth and the relatedness of living things by
evolution seems neither wise nor necessary for the believer.
I have found there is a wonderful harmony in the complementary truths of science and faith. The God of the Bible is also
the God of the genome. God can be found in the cathedral or in the laboratory. By investigating God's majestic and awesome
creation, science can actually be a means of worship.

The Great Commission
The last words of Christ before He ascended to heaven are written in the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus said: Therefore go, and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them
to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
Who do these words apply to? You and me! They apply to every Christian! It is our greatest single duty as servants of Christ,
to tell others about the wonderful News that brings salvation and joy!
Christians of Thailand โ�ฆ God wants and needs your help! There are so many that need to hear about
Jesus and only YOU can be the most effective messenger for Him. Only you have the power to reach your family, your friends,
your co-workers and people you meet in your day-to-day life. Only you have walked in the shoes of your fellow countrymen and
only you can relate to them in your native language with an understanding of your culture, history and basic beliefs.
The Holy Spirit will help you find the right words or the right thing to do for the people who cross your path each day.
Pray for help and the opportunity; and remember that it is up to YOU to obey the Spirits prompting. It can happen in a number
of ways and at any time: perhaps you feel the Spirit weighing upon you when you meet a friend for lunch or when you meet someone
for the first time. Say something to them about your Faith! Tell them about what God, through Christ, has done for you! Pray
for guidance in what to say; how to say it; and what NOT to say!
The important thing is to be prepared to act and to just do it!

เพราะว่าเราไม่คู่ควรที่จะเป็นคนพิเศษแก่พระผู้สร้างจักรวาฬ
แต่พระองค์ตรัสซ้ำแล้วซ้ำอีกในพระคัมภีร์ว่าพระองค์รักเรา
ถ้าท่านรักพระเยซูคริสต์
ซึ่งเป็นพระเจ้าในร่างมนุษย์บนโลกนี้และเป็นพระเจ้าบนสวรรค์ทุวันนี้ด้วยความจริงใจ
ท่านจะรอดพ้นความผิดบาป
และได้รับชีวิตนิรันดร์
แต่ ช้าก่อน ! จริงอยู่ความรอดพ้นจากความบาปเป็นฤทธิ์มหันต์และมีความสำคัญมาก
แต่พระเจ้ามีพระพรอื่นอีกที่เตรียมไว้ให้ท่าน
เมื่อท่านให้ความรักที่มีต่อพระเจ้าเติบโตขึ้น
ท่านจะรู้สึกอยากได้พระพรมากขึ้นอีก -
ท่านอยากอฐิษฐาน อยากอ่านพระคัมภีร์
อยากสังสรรค์กับคริสเตียน
( มีสามัคคีธรรม สนุกร่วมกัน
) และอยากเล่าให้คนอื่นฟังต่อๆไป
การเป็นคริสเตียนเป็นสิ่งดีที่สุดในชีวิต
พระเจ้าสามารถทำกิจในชีวิตท่านอย่างเหลือเชื่อ
ถ้าท่านยอมเชื่อฟังและเติบโตในความสัมพันธ์กับพระองค์

God's Blessings
Mark 12:30 you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with
all your strength.' This is the first commandment.
Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold
to one, and despise the other. You aren't able to serve God and mammon '
Joh 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments
Joh 14:23-24 Jesus answered him, 'If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to
him, and make our home with him. He who doesn't love me doesn't keep my words. The word which you hear isn't mine, but the
Father's who sent me.
God wants our love! Why? I do'nt know, because we are surely not worthy of being special to the Creator of the Universe!
But He tells us He loves us, over and over again in the Bible.
If you truly love Him through Jesus Christ, who was the embodiment of God on earth and is part of God today in Heaven -
then you have salvation and everlasting life!
But wait a minute! Salvation, as powerful and important as it is, is not the only blessing that God has in store for you!
When you allow your Love for God to grow, you will find yourself WANTING to get more! You want to pray, you want to read the
Bible, you want to spend time with your fellow Christians (just having fellowship and fun - sanook!) and you want to tell
other people about it!
Being a Christian is the best life you can lead! It is unbelievable what God can and will do to your life when you begin
to obey and to grow in your relationship with Him!
EXPECT MIRACLES and God Bless you!

Foot Prints in the Sand
คืนหนึ่งชายคนหนึ่งได้ฝัน
ในฝันนั้น เขากำลังเดินตามชายหาดกับพระเจ้า
มีฉากจากเหตุการณ์ต่างในชีวิตของเขาแวบวับบนท้องฟ้า
ในแต่ละฉากเขาสังเกตุเห็นรอยเท้าสองชุดบนพื้นทราย
ชุดหนึ่งเป็นของเขาเอง
อีกชุดหนึ่งเป็นของพระเจ้า
เมื่อฉากสุดท้ายของชีวิตของเขาแวบขึ้นมาต่อหน้าเขา
เขาได้มองย้อนหลังไปที่รอยเท้าบนทราย
เขาพบว่ามีหลายครั้งในชีวิตที่มีรอยเท้าชุดเดียวเท่านั้นบนพื้นทราย
นอกจากนั้นเขายังสังเกตุเห็นอีกด้วยว่า
มันมักจะเกิดในยามที่ชีวิตของเขาตกต่ำสุดๆ
เขาจึงรู้สึกไม่ค่อยสะบายใจ
จึงทูลถามพระเจ้า : "พระองค์เจ้าข้า
พระองค์เคยตรัสกับข้าพระองค์ว่า
ทันทีที่ข้าพระองค์ตัดสินใจติดตามพระองค์
พระองค์จะเดินไปกับข้าพระองค์เสมอ
แต่ข้าพระองค์สังเกตุเห็นว่า
ในยามที่ข้าพระองค์ตกต่ำ
มีรอยเท้าแค่ชุดเดียว

One
night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across
the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When
the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He
noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He
also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This
really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD,
you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you
most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My
son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you
see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

วันก่อนผมได้ฟังเทศนาจากนักเทศนผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ผู้หนึ่ง
ชื่อ บิลลีแกรมห์ ข้อความตอนหนึ่งของการเทศนาทำให้ผมทึ่งมากจนอดที่จะนำมาบอกแก่ท่านไม่ได้:
ตามตัวบทกฏหมาย ถ้าคุณทำผิด
คุณต้องรับโทษอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งสมกับความผิดที่คุณได้ทำ
ตัวอย่างเช่น ถ้าคุณขับรถเร็วเกินอัตราที่กฏหมายกำหนด
คุณต้องถูกปรับ หรือถ้าคุณฆ่าคน
หรือโขมยของเขา คุณต้องรับโทษหนักขึ้น
ซึ่งบางครั้งอาจถึงกับประหารชีวิต
ตามบัญญัติของพระเจ้า
ถ้าคุณทำบาป คุณต้องรับโทษเช่นกัน
โทษนี้คือการถูกตัดขาดจากพระเจ้า
เพราะพระเจ้ายอมรับบาปไม่ได้
การถูกตัดขาดจากพระเจ้าคือการลงนรก
ซึ่งเป็นที่ๆที่ผมไม่ต้องการไปใช้เวลาในนิรันดร์กาลที่นั้น
เนื่องจาก เราทุกคนล้วนทำบาป
เราจึงต้องถูกปรับโทษเช่นนี้ด้วย
หรือกล่าวอีกอย่างหนึ่งว่า
เรากำลังเข้าแถวรอวันประหาร
ซึ่งสภาพการเข้าแถวรอเช่นนี้โหดยิ่งกว่าถูกประหารไปเลยให้รู้แล้วรู้รอด
เพราะตายฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณมันร้ายกว่าตายฝ่ายกาย
ดังนั้น เมื่อพระเจ้ามองมนุษย์
พระองค์ย่อมเห็นเราเป็นผู้ที่ถูกปรับโทษถึงตาย
เราตกในสภาพเหมือนนักโทษในชุดสีส้มเฝ้ารอวันตาย(ในอเมริกา
นักโทษประหารใส่ชุดสีส้ม)
แต่มีข่าวดีจะบอก
เมื่อเราได้ต้อนรับพระเยซูคริสต
เราได้สวมเสื่อชุดใหม่
คือพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้า
ข เมื่อพระเจ้ามองที่คริสเตียน
พระองค์จะไม่เห็นเสื้อชุดสีส้มของนักโทษประหารอีกต่อไป
แต่พระองค์จะเห็นพระเยซูคริสต์

The other day I saw a sermon by one of the greatest
preachers of our time, Billy Graham. I was especially struck by one part of his
message that I will tell you about here:
Under man’s law, if you commit a crime,
you must pay a penalty of some sort. If you are speeding in your car, you might
pay a fine or penalty for breaking the law. Or if you murder someone, or steal
from them you will be subject to a much harsher penalty under the law, perhaps even paying with your life.
Under God’s law, if you commit a sin, you
must pay a penalty also. This penalty is separation from God forever, since He
is not tolerant of sin! Separation from God, is what we call Hell and it is not
a place I want to spend eternity! Since we all sin, then we are all condemned
to this ultimate penalty under God’s law. In other words, it is like we
are on death row, but actually much worse, since dying spiritually is much worse
than dying physically.
So in God’s eyes, when He looks upon man,
he sees the condemned sinners that we are. It is like we have on those orange
jumpsuits that they make the prisoners wear, (in the United States)
that identify us as convicts and condemned.
But here this Good News, when we receive Jesus
Christ into our hearts, then we are wrapped in the spirit of the Lord Jesus. When
God looks at the true Christian, He does not see the “orange jumpsuit” of the condemned! -- He sees Jesus Christ!

ความรัก
ความเชื่อ,ความหวังและความรัก.
ทั้งสามสิ่งนี้ ความรักยิ่งใหญ่ที่1โครินธ์13:13
ชายคนหนึ่งได้ถามพระเยซูว่า
"พระอาจารย์เจ้าข้า พระบัญญัติข้อใดยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุด"
พระเยซูตอบว่า "จงรักพระเจ้าของเจ้าของเจ้าสุดจิตสุดใจสุดความคิดของเจ้าทั้งหมด
นี่คือบัญญัติที่ยิ่งใหญ่และสำคัญเป็นอันดับแรก.
บัญญัติข้อที่สองคือจงรักเพื่อนบ้านเหมือนรักตนเองตนเอง

เราเป็นคนไม่สมบูรณ์และไม่เชื่อฟัง
แต่ถึงกระนั้น ด้วยเหตุผลบางประการ
พระองค์ทรงเลือกที่จะรักเรา
ทั้งๆที่เราบกพร่อง

Love
These three remain - faith, hope, and love. The
greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
When Jesus was asked by a man … "Teacher,
which is the greatest commandment in the law?"
Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your
God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. A second
likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."
Matthew 22:36-40
God wants us to love Him!
Why? Because
He loves us.
Why? I don’t know why, this is one of the
great mysteries, but I will be sure to ask Him when I get to heaven!
We are certainly not worthy of the love of the
Almighty Creator of the Universe! After all, we are imperfect and disobedient
to Him, yet for some reason He chooses to love us in spite of this.
God knows our hearts and He knows whether you
love Him in your heart or not. We cannot hide from Him or fool Him with false
words or actions. We cannot just pay him “lip service” – meaning
to just say words that sound good, but that do not come from the heart and that we do not really mean.
When we truly love God, then we want to obey Him
and to please Him. We can let God’s spirit, in our hearts – the Holy
Spirit – guide us.
Love truly conquers all! When we love God, we honor Him and obey Him. When we love
each other, we honor our fellow men and women with kindness, gentleness and concern.

Faith
I have heard it said, that if you will give God your Faith - that He will give you hope.
This illustrates that faith is something that comes from you and that it is something that you can choose to give.
The bible tells many stories about faith; there were times when Jesus criticized his followers for not having very much
faith at all.
Matthew 8:23-26 When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him. Behold, a great tempest arose in the sea, so much
that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. They came to him, and woke him up, saying, 'Save us, Lord! We
are dying!' He said to them, 'Why are you fearful, oh you of little faith?' Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea,
and there was a great calm.
He commended a Roman centurion for his great Faith.
Matthew 8:5-10 When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him, and saying, 'Lord, my servant lies in
the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.' Jesus said to him, 'I will come and heal him.' The centurion answered, 'Lord,
I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I am also a man under
authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell
my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it.' When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, 'Most assuredly
I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel.
Christ also said to his disciples:
Matthew 17:20 He said to them, '… For most assuredly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you
will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Faith is something that God can measure and that God wants us to have. In fact, He wants us to have more of it! I know
that faith can grow, over time, if you will let it and if you will seek God. He will reveal things to you and He will work
in your life in ways that will increase your Faith. Miracles do happen; they have happened to me and to my family. God does
work in peoples lives and can work in your life too.

คริสตศาสนาแตกต่างจากศาสนาอื่นๆในโลกชัดเจน
โดยมีลักษณะเฉพาะตัวของคำสอนพื้นฐาน
: ความรอดพ้นจากบาปประทานให้มนุษย์
สิ่งที่มนุษย์ต้องทำคือรับเอาแผนของพระเจ้าที่ให้เป็นของประทานเปล่าๆแก่เขาโดยควมเชื่อ
พระเจ้าได้เสด็จมาบังเกิดในสภาพมนุษย์ในโลกนี้กว่าสองพันปีมาแล้ว
คือพระเยซูคริสต์ การเสด็จลงมาบังเกิดนี้ได้มีการทำนายไว้กว่าร้อยครัง
และหลายลักษณะการในพระคัมภีร์เดิม
เป้าหมายหลักของการเสด็จมาในโลกคือเพื่อแสดงให้เราเห็นวิธีดำเนินชีวิต
และถวายพระองค์เองเป็นเครื่องบูชาเพื่อชดใช้หนี้บาปของเรา

"
พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า"แน่ละ
วันนี้เจ้าจะได้อยู่กับเราในดินแดนบรมสุขเกษมในสวรรค์"(ลก.23:29
,43)
สำหรับผมแล้ว นี่เป็นเรื่องราวที่น่าประทับใจที่สุดจากพระคัมภ๊ร์
เพราะมันแสดงให้เห็นว่าพระเจ้าช่วยกู้เราถึงแม้ว่าเราจะเคยสารเลวก็ตาม

Christianity is
unique among the world’s religions in its most basic teaching –
salvation is given to people –
all they have to
do is accept God’s plan as a free gift to them! This is what we mean by
“have faith”!
God came to earth
over 2,000 years ago in the form of a human being. This person was Jesus Christ. His coming was foretold over 100 different times and ways in the Old Testament portion
of the Holy Bible.
His primary purposes
for coming to earth were to show us how to live and to offer Himself as the ultimate and final sacrifice to pay for the sins
of all mankind. What could be more precious than God Himself dying the most horrible
death imaginable for a bunch of sinners like me and you?
It is something
that you don’t have to earn or pay for, and is given freely to all who ask. None
of us DESERVE this gift, but God chooses to give it to us because He loves all mankind.
Here is an example
of salvation given to the undeserving because of faith. It is from the Gospel
of Luke in the New Testament. There were 2 very evil men crucified with Jesus.
One of the criminals
who was hanged [on the cross next to Jesus] insulted him, saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!"
But the other answered,
and rebuking him said, "Don't you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we
receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong."
He said to Jesus,
"Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom."
Jesus said to him,
"Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise." Lu 23:39 - Lu 23:43
To me this is one
of the most moving stories from the Bible because it shows us how God can deliver us, regardless of what we have done in the
past!

ฉันคือคนบาป! ฉันทำบาปทุกวัน!
พระคัมภีร์สอนว่าทุกคนทำบาปหมด
ไม่ใช่แค่ผมคนเดีย :“
เพราะทุกคนทำบาปและเสื่อมจากพระสิริของพระเจ้า".
สำหรับมนุษย์แล้ว บางบาปดูเหมือนร้ายกาจกว่าบาปอื่น
เช่น ฆาตกรรมร้ายกว่าพูดเท็จ
แต่ในสายพระเนตรของพระเจ้า
ไม่ว่าบาปเล็กหรือบาปใหญ่
ไม่อาจพกติดตัวเข้าสวรรค์ไปอยู่กับพระเจ้าได้
เพราะพระเจ้าเป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์เกินกว่าที่จะรับความบาปได้
ถ้าท่านหยุดคิดสักครู่หนึ่ง
มันน่าจะเป็นเช่นนั้นไช่ไหมครับ
? เพราะถ้าไม่เป็นเช่นนั้น
พระเจ้าจะพิพากษายุติธรรมได้อย่างไรกัน
? หรือกล่าวอีกอย่างหนึ่งว่า
พระเจ้าผู้ทรงยุติธรรมไม่อาจสร้างระบบที่ใช้ความรุนแรงของบาปเป็นตัวชี้วัดว่าใครจะถูกพิพากษาและใครจะรอดพ้นความบาป
บาปแค่ไหนที่พระเจ้ายอมได้
? ทำดีแค่ไหนถึงจะทำให้ได้ชีวิตนิรันดร์?
เราจะรู้ได้อย่างไรว่าเราดีพอที่จะผ่านจุดนี้
?
ด้วยสติปัญญาอันลำเลิศไม่มีจำกัดของพระเจ้า
พระองค์ทรงสร้างแผนที่สมบูรณ

I am a sinner!
I sin everyday!
I am not alone … the Bible says: “for
all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 “.
To humans some sins are greater than others; for
example – murder is a greater sin, than lying. However, in God’s
eyes ALL sin, great or small make us unworthy to be with Him eternally, because of his
purity.
This is as it should be. If you consider this for a moment, I think you will agree – how could God judge man fairly
otherwise? In other words, a just God could not create a system, where the degree
of sin would be a measure for judgment and salvation. How much sin then would
God allow? A little bit of sin or a lot of sin?
Where would be the cut-off for eternal life? How would we ever know if
we were good enough?
God in His infinite wisdom created the perfect

ผมเชื่อว่าลึกๆภายในใจคนมีความเชื่อว่ามีผู้ทรงอิทธิฤทธิ์สูงสุดดำรงอยู่

มนุษย์รู้แก่ใจดีว่ามีบางสิ่งที่ยิ่งใหญ่เหนือมนุษย์
และบางสิ่งที่เป็นวิญญาณและมีอำนาจ
เหตุที่เป็นเช่นนี้เพราะเราทุกคนมาจากพระเจ้า

เพื่อเรียกท่านให้มาหาพระองค์และเป็นของพระองค์
พระเจ้าไม่ประสงค์จะปรับโทษผู้ใด
แต่เนื่องจากพระองค์สมบูรณและบริสุทธิ์
พระองค์ไม่อาจยอมรับบาป
และ ความชั่วร้ายได้
ครั้งหนึ่งพระพิโรธของพระองค์ได้ทำลายมนุษย์เกือบหมด
เว้นไว้แต่คนชอบธรรมคนหนึ่งกับครอบครัวของเขา
คนๆนี้คือ โนอาห์ ภายหลังจากน้ำท่วมโลกครั้งยิ่งใหญ่ในสมัยก่อน
พระเจ้าได้สัญญาว่าพระองค์จะไม่ทำลายมนุษย์ด้วยวิธีนี้อีก
พระองค์ได้สัญญาในพระคัมภีร์ว่าจะให้วิธีที่มนุษย์จะเป็นผู้บริสุทธิ์ได้
ในคราวต่อไป จะพูดถึงแผนการณ์ของพระเจ้าที่จะทำให้มนุษย์

Does God Exist?
I believe that deep down inside of all people,
is a belief that a Higher Power exists. Virtually all peoples throughout history,
have a concept of something greater than mankind, and something that is spiritual and powerful. That is because we all came from God and He put this desire and hunger in our hearts for Him.
How else can you explain the wonder and vastness
of this world and the universe? Do you really believe that it just happened accidentally? Do you think the miracle of a child birth or of a sunset are just the work of a big
bang and evolution – without the hand of a Supreme Maker? I don’t.
The issue of “is there a God?” is
more pertinent to people, such as atheists and agnostics, in other words, people who do not believe in a Supreme Being. Those who profess their love for God and who grow in their love for Him, can feel
Him at work in their hearts and minds and soul. He works in our lives and brings
us peace and joy, it is through this evidence alone, that Christians can tell you they KNOW that God exists.
I believe that Buddhists are very much aware of
a Supreme Being. I have seen them pray, not to Buddha, but to something greater
and unknown above him and above all other spirits. As Christians, we believe
that God alone has power over the forces of evil in this world and that we rely upon God to watch over us and to protect us.
Jesus said, “Don't be afraid of those who
kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna (Hell). Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion (penny - baht) Not one of them falls on the
ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore
don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.”
So if deep in your heart you seeking something
that you have been longing for, then it is God at work, calling you to come to Him and to be His! He wants you, He wants all of us to love Him and to be His child.
He does not want to condemn any person, but since He is perfect and Holy, he can not tolerate wickedness, evil and
sinfulness.
Once, in anger and in wrath, He destroyed nearly
all of mankind, but spared one righteous man and his family – Noah. After
the great flood of early times, God promised to never destroy mankind again, in this way.
He promised throughout the Bible to send a way for us to be made Holy.
Next time we will discuss more about God’s
plan to make humans, who are wicked and sinful by nature, worthy of God - who is the Creator of man and the entire universe!

According to the Bible, God is infinite, personal, Triune, transcendent,

God is infinite -- He is everywhere. He cannot be measured or understood by finite man.
He called all reality into existence. The name, "I AM THAT I AM," (Exodus 3:14) was given to man to indicate that God exists in a way that nothing
and no one else can exist. God is the first cause of all things, the primary reality and the only self-existent being.
God is personal -- We refer to God as He not It. He is not simply a force,
energy or substance, but a person. God has a personality. God is self-conscious and self-willed. God thinks and acts.

God is holy -- He is absolute righteousness. There is nothing evil in Him. He is compared
to pure light, which darkness cannot overcome. Holiness is the greatest and all-encompassing attribute of His character. Because
God is infinite, it is impossible for one attribute to be greater than another. However, God's holiness encompasses all His
other attributes. He is holy God, holy love, holy sovereign, holy grace, holy Trinity, etc. He is holy in everything He is
and does.

Why is it so important to “make your peace
with God”? Why is it prudent to seek the truth about the spiritual
world?
It is important because it will determine how
you spend ETERNITY!
What is Eternity?
It is a concept that is probably impossible for humans to understand fully! It
is not even possible for me to imagine time without end, but that is what Eternity means.
Imagine this: Let us say that our life on earth
will last 100 years! That is a very long time for someone to live. I think we all have the perspective that a 100 years is a long time and that a person living that long
is very, very old.
I have found that people have a very hard time
relating to the concept of time; for example when we are young the years seem to go so slowly; and as we age time goes by
more quickly.
So let us think about distances for a moment,
instead of time, I think it will help you grasp the concept of a very large number.
Let us imagine that 100 years is represented by
a length of rope and let us say that the rope is 100 meters long, this is a very long rope, is it not?
Let us also imagine another piece of rope, we
will call it rope number 2, that stretches from Bangkok to Chiang Mai! This rope would be 570,000 meters long and would be a very long piece of rope, indeed! Doesn’t rope number 2 make our 100 year/100 meter rope suddenly look very small?
Now let us stretch our imaginary rope number 2
to the moon! This is a distance of 384,400,000 meters! That is a very long distance,
so all of a sudden our little short rope is so tiny as to be almost insignificant. I
could go on, but I will just point out that the distance to the moon, is almost nothing compared to the furthest reaches of
the known Universe! In fact, astronomers recently spotted some objects that were
12 billion LIGHTYEARS away! In other words, it takes LIGHT 12 billion years
to reach us from that distance!
This would
be a distance of 113,528,765,670,969,600,144,280,135,287,656,709,696,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 meters! Now how significant is our 100 year rope? By
the way, this number is also insignificant compared to Eternity!
Now how significant
is your 100 years here on earth compared to Eternity? The answer, of course,
is that it is nearly nothing!
Yet, why do
we humans gamble with our Eternal fate and ignore the possibilities of how we will spend a time so vast, that we cannot even
comprehend it? Would it not be very foolish to focus on the importance of the
very short rope and pay no attention to the vastness of the Eternal rope?
The bible asks:
“For what is your life? It is like a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.”
This is something
to ponder, is it not?

คำพยานของผม
ผมคิดว่าเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่คริสเตียนควรแบ่งปันเรื่องราวของตนเองกับคนอื่นเพื่อคนอื่นจะได้เข้าใจว่าพระเจ้าทำงานในชีวิตของผู้นั้นอย่างไร
ต่อไปนี้เป็นเรื่องราวของผม
: ผมได้รับความรอดพ้นจากบาปอย่างแรง
และได้ต้อนรับพระคริสต์เข้ามาในชีวิตเป็นพระผู้ช่วยให้รอดเมื่ออายุ
13 ปี เวลาที่ผมได้ต้อนรับพระคริสต์และความรู้สึกที่ผมมีขณะนั้นไม่เหมือนที่ผมเคยรู้สึกมาก่อน
ในฐานะที่เป็นวัยรุ่น
ผมได้พยายามอย่างหนักที่จะดำเนินชีวิตตามที่ผมเห็นสมควร
แต่ผมเสียใจที่จะบอกว่า
ประมาณหนึ่งปีหรือนานกว่านั้น
ผมได้เริ่มพลัดพรากไปจากทางของพระเจ้า
มันเริ่มจากสิ่งเล็กๆก่อน
แต่ต่อมาสักพักหนึ่ง
ผมถูกบาปและสิ่งในโลกเกาะจนแน่น
แต่พระเจ้ายังคงอวยพระพรผม
และอดทนต่อผม และยังเรียกว่าผมเป็นของพระองค์อยู่นั้นเอง
ถึงแม้ว่าผมจะไม่ต้องการยอมรับและเชื่อฟังพระองค์

ผมสูญเสียทุกอย่างที่ผมี
และที่ผมเห็นว่าสำคัญ
! ไม่ว่าจะเป็นบ้าน งาน
รถ และภรรยา ผมเสียจนสิ้น!
ผมเสียหายยับเยิน ! และอยู่สุดปลายเชือกแล้ว
ขณะนั้นผมอายุ 42 ปีแล้ว
ผมจึงหาพระเจ้าอีกทางพระเยซูคริสต์
และยืนยันความเชื่อของผมและความรักต่อพระองค์
หลังจากนั้นพระเจ้าได้อวยพรผมด้วยสิ่งอัศจจรย์ต่างๆ
และที่สคัญคือผมรู้ว่าพระเจ้ายังรักผมเสมอ
และไม่มีวันเลิกรักผม
พระเจ้าปราถนาให้ผมบอกคนอื่นให้รู้สิ่งที่จะเกิดแก่ชีวิตของเขาถ้าเขาเลิกต่อสู้
และหยุดปฏิเสธพระเจ้า
ยอมรับพระองค์และรักพระองค์
ผมเล่าให้คุณฟังในเรื่องนี้
เพือคุณจะได้เชื่อฟัง
และเพราะว่าการทำเช่นนี้ทำให้ผมมีความยินดี
บางทีพระเจ้าอาจนำคุณมาที่เวบนี้และหน้านี้
และถ้อยคำเหล่านี้
ผมรู้ว่าพระองค์รักคุเสมอ
ถึงแม้คุณยังไม่รู้จักพระองค์หรือรักพระองค์ตอบด้วยซ้ำไป

ซึ่งการอัศจรรย์เหล่านี้มาจากพระเจ้าเท่านั้น

My Testimony
I think it is important for Christians to share their own personal stories
with others. In this way, people can come to understand what it is that God is doing in the lives of others.
Here
is my story: I was powerfully saved and accepted Christ as my savior when I was 13 years old. The moment of acceptance and
the feelings that came over me at this time was like nothing else that I had ever felt before or since!
As a teenager,
I tried very hard to live the way that I knew I should, but I am sorry to say, that after a year or so, I began to drift away
from God. It started with small things, but after awhile, I was totally caught up in sin and the things of this world.
Yet
God continued to bless me and to have patience with me and to still call me His own, even though I did not want to
acknowledge
him or to be obedient to him. This continued for many years.
God has a way of getting your attention, however, and
He certainly got mine! I lost nearly everything that I had and that I thought was important! Home, cars, a job and my wife!
I was totally destroyed and was, frankly, at the very end of my rope! It was then, at age 42 that I reached out again to God,
through Jesus Christ, and reaffirmed my faith and my love for Him!
Since then, I have been blessed with so many wonderful
things, the most important of which is the knowledge that God still loves me! He always did; He never stopped!
God's
desire is for me to tell other people about what can happen in their lives when they quit fighting and denying God and accept
Him and love Him. I tell you about this to be obedient to Him and because it gives me joy to do so!
Perhaps God has
led you to this website and to this page and to these words; I know He has always loved YOU, even when you didn't even know
about Him or love him in return.
He has led you here because He is not willing that any of his children, and YOU are
one of his children, should be lost and be damned to eternity in hell!
Come back soon, to hear more about eternity,
God and how Jesus Christ fits into this picture, how you can become one of his own and experience a New Life in Him!
It
is exciting stuff! It is a wonderful life when you are close to God and when, each day, you can be excited about what is going
to happen next! Miracles have happened in my life and in the lives of Christians around me, that can only have come from God.

เราควรระลึกไว้เสมอว่า
เราไม่จำเป็นต้องมีวันขอบพระคุณพระเจ้าเป็นทางการเพื่อจะขอบพระคุณพระเจ้า
แท้จริงแล้ว ในฐานะที่เป็นคริสเตียน
เราควรขอบพระคุณพระเจ้าอยู่เสมอสำหรับสิ่งที่พระองค์ได้ทำแก่เรา

We are celebrating a holiday we call Thanksgiving in the U.S. where people of all religions
celebrate the fall harvest season and give Thanks to God for the blessings He has given us during the year.
We celibrate by, typically, eating too much! Here in the U.S. we serve items such as a traditional
turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans and pumpkin pie make up a meal we enjoy with family and friends.
We want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
We should all remember we don't have to have an official "Thanksgiving Day" to be thankful.
In fact, as Christians we feel that we should be thankful to God always for what He has done for us.
We hope you too, will take this opportunity to thank God, in your own way, for all he has given you
and all of us!

2006 มีคน 5 คนจากคัมมิงเดินทางมาประเทศไทย
และได้ทำงานกับศิษยาภิบาลและมิชันนารีในประเทศไทย
ชื่อ Rick และ Cooky Kuterที่พัทยาเป็นเวลา
1 สัปดาห์
ผมได้รับพระพรมาก
! จากประสพการณ์นี้ ผมก็เกิดความคิดที่จะใช้อินเตอร์เนตเป็นสื่อถึงคนไทย
(ผมเป็นนักธุระกิจที่จอรเจียร์
มีบริษัทที่มีฐานทางอินเตอร์เนต)

I feel honored to have the opportunity to post comments and thoughts on this website for our friends in Thailand
to read and, hopefully, learn a bit more about Christianity. Perhaps, I can write something that will help someone better
understand what faith in Christ is all about and prompt them to take the next step towards salvation!
My name is Steve Testerman and I live near Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. Atlanta is in the
Southeastern part of the U.S. and is a large city with a population of about 4.5 million people.
I live in Cumming, Georgia which is a suburb about 60 Kilometers from downtown Atlanta. It is here in
Cumming and through attending the First Baptist Church of Cumming, that I first learned about the opportunity to go to Thailand
and to help the people there learn about Christ.
In July, 2006 a group of 5 people from Cumming traveled to Thailand and worked in Pattaya for a week with
the pastor there and with our missionaries to Thailand Rick and Cooky Kuter.
What a blessing it was for me! Out of this experience, came the idea to reach out to the Thai people
through the Internet. (I am a businessman in Georgia, with an Internet based company). Out of this SawadeeJesus.com
was launched. This site has gotten more busy over the past few months with many thousands of visitors over that time!
It is our desire, to have this be a place of information and even, inspiration! So check
back often and check this page for updates ... I will try to add new and, hopefully, meaningful material periodically.
