Subject: Fruit from YOUR labor
“Pastor
Rick, this is Pastor Sabai. I wanted you to know that we have been meeting every Friday with a group of 8 people in
Wang Yen where the volunteer team came last year! All 8 have expressed interest in becoming believers and are learning
more at the Bible studies!”
This is the
product of YOUR involvement with the work done in this small village last year. We had asked you all to pray during
that week for the volunteer team that came from Georgia, for the local Thai Christians
like Pastor Sabai that we would be working with, and for those hundreds of people in Wang Yen and two other villages where
we would be working. In addition to the Team of US and Thai Christians presenting the Gospel through drama and Bible
story telling in schools and in homes, we distributed thousands of pieces of Great News about Jesus in video, magazines and
books.
Supernatural
things resulted. The souls of many of those who heard were touched by God’s Spirit as they encountered the news
of His love.
We wanted
you to have an update about this fantastic fruit that is beginning to become evident. This is ALL due to your faithfully
praying for us during that time. Our Father is so faithful in responding when we acknowledge our dependency upon His
power as we pray to ask for His help and blessing. Please continue to pray as more and more join this weekly Bible
study group. Pray for Pastor Sabai and those other Thai Christians helping in this effort.

WHAT A WEEK!!! The team
of 4 from the US state of Georgia and our Thai Christian Team worked in 3 elementary schools, visited Buddhist temples to
share the Great News of Christ, visited in village homes, and distributed thousands of pieces of Gospel materials.

The team’s involvement
was the beginning of work we’re doing in the new district of Plaeng Yaow. There are NO churches, maybe 1 Christian,
in this district. Our Central Thai Team/Thai Baptist Team will be working throughout next year to plant new groups so
it was critical that this volunteer project have an impact on community leaders and all those living in the area.

- While strolling through
the village, meeting people and giving them packets of Gospel materials, we met a lady and asked her if she had ever heard
about Jesus. She said she had read something about Jesus before. She was interested in knowing more and our Thai
Team will be going back to visit her.
AMAZING!! Among all those people,
God led us to her!

- During one visit to the Buddhist
temple, our Thai/Georgia Team Members encountered a community radio station located on the temple premises! That was
extraordinary, but then Team member Steve said he wanted to see the station and went in with other Team members. The
DJ asked Steve to share with radio listeners what the Team was doing this week. Steve hammed it up; “Good Morning
Out Their Radio Listeners!! This is Steve from America coming to you live!”
The Thai DJ asked Steve about the Cross he was wearing (We had been distributing little plastic Crosses that said, “I
Love Jesus, Jesus Loves Me” on them.). Steve took off the Cross and gave it to the DJ.

The DJ talked to our Thai Pastor Team Member who was with Steve and
asked if the Pastor could come back to talk more about what Christians do on another day!!!!
AMAZING! God led our Team to that radio station!
สมาชิกในคณะของเราบางคนได้แวะมาที่บ้านหนึ่งขณะที่กำลังเพลิดเพลินกับแจกใบปลิว

- Some of our Team came
to one house as they were visiting and distributing materials in the village. They were told that this was the home
of the Head of the Village. He wasn’t there at the moment but the Team members were asked to sit and have a glass
of water. Right then, three other men who came to see the Head Man came and sat down. They were education representatives
from other schools and when they heard what our Thai/Georgia Team was doing in schools they wanted them to come to their schools
too!
AMAZING! Of all the homes
in the neighborhood, they came to this one!!

- Cooky and Rick were sitting with our Thai Team Member at lunch
who is also Pastor of our Baptist church nearby. He was talking with the lady teacher who was fascinated with the testimony
of how Christ had saved the Pastor from certain destruction in his earlier life. She was excited about visiting with
him and his wife and learning more about this Jesus!

from the same small town as the Pastor! God led the Pastor to seek out and talk to this teacher from all the rest!
She had been reading the materials about Jesus that had been distributed.

Dear Family,
We reflect on the amazing things that we have seen God
doing over the past couple of years since we have returned to Thailand:
1. We didn’t die on that
stormy, rainy night when we were having to travel on winding, dark, mountain roads in heavy traffic when Cooky had to shift
the gears as Rick drove due to his having extreme bursitis in his shoulders! You were praying for our safety.
2.
Our Thai friend, Jeep, who prayed to spirits and who was undeniably demon-possessed and whose life has been dramatically changed
after her receiving Christ as her Savior and Lord. Six months later, she continues to be one of the most enthusiastic
disciples of Christ one would ever hope to meet!
3. Our Thai friend, Pin, who
was sitting on the sidewalk in a deeply depressed and miserable state when the Thai and US volunteer team approached her and
led her to Christ. In tears, she humbly confessed that evening at our Christian fellowship, “I can’t imagine
the Great God accepting a terrible sinner like me!” You had been praying for us. Pin has since led others
to Christ and continues to serve Him.
4. The time we turned the corner
just in time to see Judge Phittiya be crushed against the concrete wall behind his run-away pick-up. After our rushing
him to the Emergency Room
he was in a coma for 2 months. You prayed and we visited him in the hospital for 6 months. Some of you even sent
him cards saying you were praying. He has recovered and now lives in Bangkok.
He never has acknowledged God as being the One who saved his life, BUT a Thai pastor called Rick months after the accident
to say that Mr. Phittiya’s daughter, who was a member of his church but out of fellowship, had returned due to the prayers
of many and the miracle of God saving her father.
5. Volunteers uniquely matched for the projects, example: 65--year-old
American man is determined to come even though he had just completed cancer treatment. On the first Sunday here, he
sits next to a visitor at the Thai church worship, a 70+ year old Thai man. They talk and the Thai man listens to the
American’s testimony. That afternoon the Thai man tells the Thai pastor of the church that he wants to become
a Christian too and he gives his life to Christ. He never leaves the side of the American volunteer for the remainder
of the week!
6. Seeing our volunteers approached
in the airport upon their arrival by a Thai stranger who happens to be Christian and asks, “Are you a Christian?
I thought so! I could
see it in your face!”
7. Our being there to visit the 80+ year old
American lady in the hospital who had been left at the Thai port during her cruise due to her having heart problems. We went to see her after the Embassy had notified us and
shared with her the promises the living Jesus made to His disciples 2000 years before, “I will never leave you alone. I will ask the Father and
we will come to you.” She was a believer and knew Jesus was with her. She passed on to be with the “living” God in His heaven the following
Wednesday.
8. Seeing prostitutes on the street break into tears by a team member
handing them a book and telling them, “The Great God loves you.”
All of these experiences testify to the reality of our God!
Living in a land full of images,
spirit houses, charms and altars makes knowing the “living” ALMIGHTY God all the more important!
Praise God! He’s not in the tomb!! HE HAS RISEN!
HE HAS RISEN INDEED!!!!

There are
new signs on many song taeows in the city! These are teachings of Jesus Christ and are messages of hope and encouragement
for all Thai people. All people know that the way to have a wonderful life full of joy, peace and happiness is to have
strong families and to have pure lives. The purpose of the messages you see on the trucks is to remind everyone to live
in a way that leads to your having the most wonderful life possible.
You will
be seeing different signs on the song taeows each month. You can check this website each month to find more information
about the meaning of the message on that month’s sign.
Also,
there are Christians who live near you who can explain more about the Most High God and explain His desire to give you a wonderful
life. If you would like for one of our Christian representatives to contact you, please send us an e-mail message and
we will be glad to have a Christian call or visit you.

Teaching from Jesus
The Most
High God who created the universe and mankind created us to live within a “family” system. God’s plan
is for one man and one woman to marry for their entire life. God’s plan is that there will be no
sexual relationship outside of marriage. This means that men and women should wait until they are married before they
have a sexual relationship. When they are married, the husband and wife are to be totally faithful to one another and
never have a sexual relationship with any other person. When we live within the system that God has created we are rewarded
with a life that is full of love, joy and peace. When we decide to rebel against God’s created system of marriage,
we find broken relationships, pain, despair and hopelessness.
Jesus
taught that if you are NOT married, do not have sex with anyone. If you are married, only have sexual relations
with your spouse.
Give
your spouse ALL of your love and you will be rewarded with a wonderful marriage and happy family.
Jesus said, “...a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become
